The main entrance to the colliery site is shared with the adjacent Country Park car park and there is a height restriction of about 2 m. 

Vehicles above this height should make prior arrangements.

NB  The Museum car park is for authorised users only.

The  access gate will be shut when the site itself closes.

Any unattended vehicles still inside will be locked in.
